I’m doing a series of paintings which are primarily along the lines of green urban space, street trees I (and others) know and love, and other little snippets of old, or un-noticed Canberra. Or something like that.
This avenue of trees were planted near the Reid Tafe (before the building was there) in anticipation of a railway line to the center of Canberra. The platform was never built, but the trees remain and are beautiful.
