Inspired by Bellerive Beach, July school holidays. It’s a corridor painting (looks okay in a corridor, but not quite worthy of above the mantel piece). It may not be a great painting, but at least I’ve moved from thinking I’ll paint again one day to realising that time is running out and I should just do, rather than think. Really enjoying the challenge of getting my head around how oil paints work again.
